Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha airport, your guide will welcome you and transfer you at your hotel in Arusha, After check-in and a short rest, enjoy a relaxing city tour exploring key landmarks like the Maasai Market, the Arusha Clock Tower and the Natural History Museum. After an early breakfast in your comfortable lodge. you will drive to Tarangire National Park with packed lunch for a game drive. This lovely park has the largest concentrations of elephants in the world and the highest number of breeding bird species. Especially during the dry season, Tarangire National Park is packed with wildlife. Big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards, but also the seldom-seen Kudu, Oryx, and Gerenuk. The Tarangire River draws huge herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles, as well as predators who prey upon them. Post the game drive, you will head to accommodation for relaxation and where a delicious dinner and overnight await you.
After breakfast, you go on a walking tour in the farming town Mto wa Mbu. This village is unique in Tanzania since it is home to over 120 different tribes from across Africa and forms a colorful mix of customs. This morning you drive to the famous Serengeti National Park. On the way, you will stop at a Maasai village to get an insight into the lifestyle of these graceful warriors. Upon arrival in the Serengeti, you first have a picnic lunch and then continue with a beautiful game drive. There is a big change you can see the Great Migration of wildebeest crossing the Mara River in this area of the Serengeti between June to September. The herds must outsmart the crocodiles and fast-flowing water before facing predators waiting on the other side. An amazing spectacle. After having a delicious and heavy breakfast, depart for a game drive you will leave Serengeti with a game drive to explore the central portion of the Serengeti National Park today while heading to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The legendary Serengeti National Park is the most renowned safari destination for its incredible population of lions and leopards. The central portion of the Serengeti – known as the Seronera area is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park. It features the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. During the off-season of the migration, one must really look out for the many lion pride that thrives in this region. The interactions and survival of these lion pride provide an excellent game-viewing experience all year round. Along with a picnic lunch during the full-day game drive evening. You will wake up early morning, having your breakfast in the morning before starting to depart to Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive, the 600 m deep caldera will descend the crater for a game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera. It has a massive floor of about 260 sq. km with a depth of over 2000 feet. Ngoro Ngoro Crater is the largest collapsed volcanic crater in the world and has fourteen kilometers of isolated natural beauty. Ngoro Ngoro Crater is surrounded by a ring of extinct volcanoes and the floor, dotted with watering holes, shelters some 30,000 animals. The 5-6 hour game drive on the crater floor will show you a lot of animal action. Keeping the camera ready is definitely recommended. Since Ngorongoro Crater is compact you can have access to see different and many animals and birds in a short period of time. The African elephant, buffalo, Black rhino, Hippos, Hyenas, Cheetahs, and Lions are found in plenty, afternoon you will head out OF Crater to Arusha town or onto the airport.
